Dr. Larry Kelly was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, and received his undergraduate degree in Zoology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He then received his medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine, followed by completing his residency at Duke University Medical Center in the university’s Internal Medicine and Pediatrics program.
Dr. Kelly joined Pawleys Pediatrics and Adult Medicine in 1998 and has been serving his patients in Pawleys Island for over twenty-three years. He is an active member of Pawleys Island Community Church and has done medical missions in the underserved areas of Guatemala and Kenya.
Dr. Kelly is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics through The National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. He is a member of the American College of Pediatricians, The Christian Medical and Dental Association, and the South Carolina Medical Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Kelly enjoys gardening, spending time with his family, and rooting for the Duke Blue Devils. Dr. Kelly and his wife, Meg, have five children, Mary, Katherine, Hannah, Sarah Louise, Wade, Hampton, and a new granddaughter, Kelly. They have a dog named Balto, and three cats named Camo, Tiger, and Cody.
